Anthony De Jesus

Anthony Amadeus De Jesus was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Puerto Rican parents. He started performing at age seven with the salsa dance company Las Semillitas. At eighteen, Anthony was one of the first generation graduates of the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). He wrote, directed and performed original work at the age of nineteen under the pseudonym and stage name "Tony 'Turb0-Man' Turbo". He fell in love with music and continued to make his own record label in honor of his grandfather called "Don Gueri Guao Records", and the calling was clear, music was it. Anthony had several years of musical performances and creating/writing songs during the MySpace era of music. Directly after graduation, his music career fizzled out but Anthony didn't give up on the entertainment industry just yet. In 2014, he booked his first lead role in the short film "The Third" and Anthony realized he was bitten by the acting bug. After, he booked several roles in theater plays around Chicago, in addition to several short and indie films, and played Sgt. Washington on the American action thriller television series "Crisis," created by Rand Ravich for 20th Century Fox Television that aired on NBC. After landing his first agent in 2016, Anthony booked his first co-star/stunts role in the feature film "L.I.E." and went on to book his first co-star TV role on Netflix' American musical drama television series created by Joshua Safran, "Soundtrack." He booked several more co-star roles on "Chicago Med" and "Empire". Since then, he has also landed a recurring role on the HBO TV show "Power Book 4: Force." Up next, Anthony booked a role as 'Special Agent Garcia' in the feature film "The Mothership," an unreleased American science fiction adventure film written and directed by Matthew Charman.
