Hearst Television has promoted David Callahan to serve as the Director of Broadcast Information Technology (I.T.) for the company.
Callahan has worked in various engineering and It roles at Wxii in the Winston-Salem, North Carolina market since 2002, and most recently served as the I.T. manager for the station and its CW Network affiliate.
Starting in December, Callahan will succeed Larry Vancini, who is retiring after nearly five decades at Hearst. Callahan will remain in North Carolina and reports to Kenneth Murphy, Hearst Television’s Vice President of I.T.
