Hemang Sharma is an American actor/ writer/ stand-up comedian based in New York City.
He grew up in a small town overseas, not speaking a word of English but surprised his family after managing to graduate from a Big10 college IN America with dual degrees in Communication and Journalism. He surprised them even more after leaving the great state of Minnesota upon graduation, and moving to New York to study acting at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
He began working for the largest South Asian Radio network in the world during the pandemic which allowed him to hone in on his comic timing and presented him with opportunities to host and perform alongside some of the biggest South Asian artists throughout their NorthAmerica tours.
Hemang Sharma also writes and performs in Hindi and can occasionally be found as the Opening Act for bigger (funnier and richer) comedians from India, as well as his peers in the New York area....
