- Chris Lippiatt was born in Auckland's North Shore suburb of Birkdale. The forth child to a naval petty officer and a former nurse. In 1990 his family loaded their possessions into a truck and relocated to the south island with the intent of starting a swede farm in the deep south. They instead settled in the northern south island province of Marlborough, due to their truck breaking down.
In 2002 Chris became a professional chef, and spent most of his career catering the military as a civilian.
Chris Lippiatt's first acting roll was a zombie extra in the short film Bloodless.
