Joyce Peters was born in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and worked with many executives in the music industry over the years. In the early 2000's she moved to Los Angeles to work with many in the various entertainment industries providing anti-aging, health care, and other services for many clients in the entertainment industries.
Joyce studied composition writing in college and is the author of many self-help books that are open for film options. In addition to script and screenplay writing, she is the author of the autobiography, Whole Lotta Music, The Jerry Greenberg Story, and other book collections that cover a variety of stories in the entertainment industries. She is the author of dozens of self-help books under the pen name Joy Peters, PhD.
Lastly, she is the mother of Summer Perry, an actress who played multiple stand-in roles as Miley Cyrus and who more recently played roles in VICE and A STAR IS BORN.
