LaTesha Hines
LaTesha K. Hines is an actress born and raised in Southside Jamaica, Queens, New York. The oldest of 16 siblings, she discovered her love for the craft at a young age when she wrote and performed skits at family gatherings. At 13, she performed in her school's rendition of "The Wiz" and decided to turn her passion into a career. After being denied by her parents a transfer to Laguardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, she chose to instead pursue an education in Journalism. Her love for theater, however, continued to burn fiercely in her heart. After the birth of her son, she decided to pursue a career in theater. She went on to star lead in her first off-Broadway play "Life is short" at 21, before relocating to Charlotte shortly after. There she continued to star in hit plays such as "Stuck" and "Tell Heaven I'm coming". Wanting to change platforms, she continued taking acting classes while learning and gaining experience thru various projects such as "The 24th", "Lovecraft Country" and "Halloween Kills". She landed her first supporting role in the film "Untouchable" in 2020. When she is not acting, she is focusing on her writing and helping spread mental health awareness throughout the community.
