Fabrizio is a writer and producer raised among Italy, Ireland and the United States. His unique multicultural perspective as well as his studies in sociology and politics, inform the stories he's passionate about.
After honing his storytelling skills at the American Film Institute Conservatory (AFI), Fabrizio began developing Film & TV projects with companies such as Fremantle's The Apartment, Erik Barmack's Wild Sheep and Alessandro Passadore's Viola Film.
In recent years, he has collected numerous awards on the international festival circuit and participated in industry programs including Series Mania - UGC Writers Campus, Midpoint - Writers Room, Torino Film Lab - Talents, Zurich Film Festival - Academy, Berlinale's Only Writers in the Building and Tatino Films' Pop-up Series Incubator (a Netflix global creative ally).
His short Zita Sempri world premiered at the 69th Taormina Film Fest in Italy in 2022 and screened at the 19th edition of the Oscar-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival in Los Angeles in 2023. During that same period, he joined a writers' room led by Tony Grisoni and produced a CNN mini-documentary on marine pollution.
Fabrizio is currently in post-production on a short he wrote and produced, starring Victoria Pedretti (The Haunting of Hill House, You) and Philip Ettinger (First Reformed, Compliance, Little Brother) in the lead roles. He's also developing a dramedy series with Lithuanian production company Just a Moment.
Fabrizio is a founding and board member of APIC, the first association of short-film producers in Italy.
