Asra is an actor, host, and writer, and began her experience on camera at Hofstra University. She was a member of the university's radio station and an anchor for the campus' nightly news. After working at various news stations in Manhattan, she left the business and began taking classes at the New York Film Academy, where she studied both theatre and film. From there she studied at The Acting Studio, and has since been cast in several plays around New York City, worked on various films, and shot her first horror feature film. It wasn't until that feature that she fell in love with horror, and wanted to continue shooting projects in this genre.
