He graduated in editing from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. With two short feature films, The Shepherd and The Death Room, he won several awards at short film festivals in the country.
In 2017, he directed his debut feature film, Volja Sinovljeva, which was delayed due to a lack of financial resources (only one hour of footage was completed). In 2019, he directed episodes of the series Grupa, Ekipizza, and Svindleri. In March 2020, Ceranic completed filming the movie Lihvar, which had previously been interrupted due to the declaration of a state of emergency caused by the covid-19 pandemic.
