Shikhar is a versatile editor and an alumnus of the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, where he earned a Master's degree in Film Editing. During his time at FTII, he worked on 35mm and 16mm short films, gaining valuable experience editing on traditional Steenbeck systems as well as modern platforms like Avid and Final Cut Pro.
He has collaborated with acclaimed filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra on notable films such as 12th Fail and Shikara and has been actively involved in the development of several scripts.
In addition to editing, Shikhar has acted in over 50 commercials, showcasing his versatility and passion for storytelling both behind and in front of camera .
