Clayton Van Huss was born on an island in the East China Sea. The last of the great adventurers, Clayton has panned for gold in the high Sierras, collected scorpions in the shadow of Chaparrastique, watched the sunset over the misty coffee plantations of Siguatepeque, observed the Aurora Borealis from Red Bird Fire Camp, fed the FEMA USAR crew in NY after 9/11, and helped to clean up Gulfport, MS after the devastation of Katrina. Through these experiences, whether adventure or tragedy, Clayton has gained an appreciation for God's Earth and a love for the people who inhabit it.
Having been trained in Dramatic Production from The Academy of Arts Christian College and Acting from East Tennessee State University, Clayton is no stranger to stage and screen. A firm believer in using his talents to serve and glorify his Creator, Clayton has begun writing, producing, directing, and acting for Refuge Media, a division of Appalachian Educational Communication Corporation, a nonprofit ministry in northeast Tennessee.
