Bayra Bela, a Mongolian actress and producer, holds a Master's degree in Acting for Screen from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, earned through the prestigious Chevening Scholarship. She is currently producing The Mongol Khan, a theatrical spectacle that debuted in London's West End and is set to play at Singapore's Marina Bay Sands, where she also stars as Queen Tsetser in the English cast.
Additionally, Bayra Bela can be seen in the Amazon Original Series The Power as Solongo on Amazon Prime. Her notable credits include roles in Marco Polo on Netflix, Steven Seagal's Attrition, and Christopher Coppola's Sacred Blood, alongside lead roles in numerous Mongolian films. In 2019, she received the "Best Actress Award" at the 41st International Women Filmmakers Festival in Florence for her performance in Blue Destiny.
A member of the Hollywood Professional Association since 2021, Bayra Bela pioneered two groundbreaking cloud production projects during the pandemic: the short film Kintsugi in London and the animated short Shadow in Ulaanbaatar, both exploring the impact of COVID-19.
Passionate about promoting Mongolian culture and cinema on the global stage, she initiated the "Hollywood in Mongolia" First International Film Artists Festival in 2019 and published the first official Mongolian translation of Ivana Chubbuck's The Power of the Actor. Additionally, she has served as a consultant to the Mongolian National Film Council and contributed to various creative projects, including acting as a cultural consultant for a character in the popular video game League of Legends.
In recognition of her dedication to Mongolian culture, Bayra Bela was honored as a Cultural Envoy of Mongolia in 2024. Her commitment extends beyond the arts, as she is a strong advocate for social and environmental causes. Appointed as a UN REDD+ Eco Ambassador to Mongolia in 2017, she has led numerous ecological initiatives, including her work with Mongolia's My Club eco-community, which planted over one million trees to combat climate change. She also served as an Eco Ambassador for Ulaanbaatar City.
With over a decade of modeling experience, Bayra Bela represented Mongolia at international beauty pageants, including Miss International 2014 and Miss Earth 2015, where she placed in the Top 16. She also achieved significant success at the Miss World pageant in Washington, D.C., in 2016, finishing in the Top 11 while winning both the Miss Talent and People's Choice Awards.
