In the wake of the catastrophic Los Angeles wildfires, relief efforts have galvanized all corners of Hollywood, from stars and creatives to executives and nonprofits. Now a group of young agents, managers and executives are coming together to host a benefit on behalf of the Entertainment Community Fund.

Scheduled for Feb. 7, the benefit is set to take place at West Hollywood’s Wild West Social House, a membership club for fashion stylists located in the former Hollywood Foreign Press headquarters on Robertson Boulevard. Hosts include Eric Schulman of Haven Entertainment, Rocco Signore of Lbi Entertainment, Brando Crawford of Acting For A Cause, Hannah J. Gordon of Misher Films, Jared Bloch of Bloch Law and Paul Grady of Mosaic.

Odenkirk's current 14-year run on AMC, thanks to his role as Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, comes to an end with the cancelation of Lucky Hank.

The comedy-drama followed Odenkirk's William Henry Deveraux Jr., the unlikely chair of the English department at Railton College, a badly underfunded school in the Pennsylvania rust belt, as he copes with a midlife crisis. As his life unravels, his wife, Lily (portrayed by The Killing's Mireille Enos), begins questioning her professional path and choices.

Two decades after Jack Black met former child star Rivkah Reyes while working on School of Rock, the two will reunite for a new project. Deadline reports that Black has joined the production of Gianna, a short film that stars Reyes in the lead role. Black will be serving as an associate producer, while Reyes is also producing the film. Kait Schuster directed the short, which was also written by Reyes. Jarad Schwartz and Brando Crawford serve as executive producers.

There's no indication that Black appears in the film. Other cast members on the short besides Reyes include Margaret Cho (Fire Island) and Elizabeth Faith Ludlow (Peacemaker). Performed against a green screen that displays locations used in the original movie, The Room remake is the latest endeavor from Acting For a Cause, an all-volunteer organization that produces and stages Zoom-style table readings of classic plays and movies for charity. Produced, directed and hosted by the organization’s Brando Crawford, The Room will benefit amfAR.

Typically, the Acting For A Cause productions are announced just days before they appear on the group’s website, with pre-show information dripped out on its Instagram page.
