Jacob Centeno Healy

Jacob was born May 7, 1990 in San Diego, California, of the United States of America. He was raised by his mother Vianne and his step-father, Daniel Healy. His dad was killed June 28th, 2005 when his helicopter was shot down in a rescue attempt as portrayed in the book and film, Lone Survivor.
Jacob graduated from Bonita Vista High School where he played football and lacrosse. He attended college right out of high school at the University of California Santa Cruz. He ultimately transferred to the University of San Diego where he graduated with his BA in Architecture (2013). His acting career began when he was recruited for a small role in a theatre production, The Government Inspector (written by Nikolai Gogol, Directed by Terry Glaser). He was offered two additional parts midway through the production when a cast member dropped out. While at the University of San Diego, Jacob studied abroad in Paris, Istanbul, and Madrid. He continued playing Lacrosse throughout college and helped co-found and manage the school's architecture clubs.
After graduating college, Jacob worked for a San Diego based triathlon wet-suit company and began volunteering for several non-profit organizations. In is his off time, Jacob blogged about his experiences as a surviving son at childrenofthefallen.org and has since opened it up as a platform for other surviving children to do the same. Jacob's volunteer work evolved when he began mentoring other children who have lost a parent as a result of their military service and ultimately began working for Children of Fallen Patriots as a Grant Administrator for scholarship funds. Jacob's focus on motion picture acting began when he was 25 in the middle of 2015. He remains dedicated to mentoring children who have lost a parent in the line of duty and organizations that support them.
Jacob's interests include recreational & extreme sports, traveling, and meeting new people.
