Born in Melbourne, Australia, into a performance-oriented family, Bill Newton has been surrounded by and involved in entertainment communities, behind the scenes and/or on stage, for over 25 years. From Stage Manager to Lighting and Sound technician to 'walking the boards' as an actor in the theatre, he has demonstrated his passion for the performing arts and a fascination and dedication to every aspect of the creative process.
Bill's inclination for creativity and adventure led him around the world to follow opportunity and pursue his dreams. Taking his theatre 'chops' into the sound booth, he found a whole new world of possibility whose challenges and chances he embraces equally and wholeheartedly.
Now, a multi-award nominated voiceover performer, Bill is most well known for his roles in LEGO: Marvel Avengers, Monster Beach and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
