Ten years ago, writer/director Jason Krawczyk brought the world the horror comedy He Never Died, which introduced viewers to a badass immortal character named Jack (played by Henry Rollins), who had been around for thousands of years. The follow-ups planned for that film haven’t made it into production, but now, Krawczyk is back with the action comedy Don’t Mess with Grandma (which was filmed under the title Sunset Superman), starring Michael Jai White. I had the chance to watch the movie several months ago and had a lot of fun with it (you can read my 8/10 review at This Link), and a larger audience will have the opportunity to enjoy it when it reaches the free streaming service Tubi on January 24th!

Hallmark Media has announced the details for a new, original movie, My Dreams of You, starring Skyler Samuels and Kapil Talwalker.

The movie is set to premiere on August 10 on Hallmark Channel as part of the feel-good network’s Summer Nights Movie Stunt. Read on to find out more about the movie and see beautiful photos taken on the film set.

According to the official synopsis, My Dreams of You tells the story of a woman who dreams about a man she has never met. Meanwhile, this is due to a clerical error in Dream Central. As time runs out, Grace McMahon (Skyler Samuels) tries to find him before any memories of each other are erased.

Toni Collette is set to star alongside Odessa Young in The Prima Donna from writer/director Nathan Silver (Thirst Street, Uncertain Terms), a feature that is billed as a “delightfully twisted and darkly funny revenge thriller about dysfunctional family dynamics, the dangers of ambition, and the lengths we will go to make our mark on the world.”

The film will reunite Collette and Young who previously worked together on the HBO series The Staircase. Cornerstone is handling international sales and distribution and will commence sales at the European Film Market. CAA Media Finance and Anonymous Content are repping North America.
