Yogi Babu(I)

Yogi Babu is a well-known Indian actor and comedian who has significantly contributed to the Tamil film industry.

Babu's acting career began in the Tamil television comedy series Lollu Sabha (2004), which parodied Tamil movies and shows. In 2009, he made his film debut in Yogi (2009) as an aspiring actor, appearing in over 177 films and establishing himself as a leading comedian in the Tamil film industry.

His notable films include Aandavan Kattalai (2016), Coco - Kolamaavu Kokila (2018), Pariyerum Perumal (2018), Gurkha (2019) and Mandela (2021). In Chennai Express (2013), Babu appeared in a role alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Apart from this, Babu has also acted alongside megastar Rajinikanth in the movie Darbar (2020). The same year, on February 5, 2020, Babu married Manju Bhargavi in Tiruttani.

Babu's comedic style and on-screen charisma have earned him numerous accolades, including the SIIMA award for Best Comedian.
