Robert Olsen was born in Hartford, Connecticut and grew up in Flemington, New Jersey. Loving the country life, he immediately moved to Los Angeles at the age of 18 after high school.
Though a natural comedian, Robert has played a vast array of different characters in theatre and on film. He graduated Santa Monica College with a A.A. Degree as a theatre major. He studied comedy and character work at the Groundlings School of Improv. And at the Baron Brown Studio, he continues to focus on the Meisner and Alexander techniques.
Robert joined SAG after booking a memorable role as Young Sonny Quinn on the hit CBS/Paramount+ show SEAL TEAM in 2021. His first leading role of film as the crazed gold hunter, Jedediah Griffith, in AMERICAN DREAMS is now available on YouTube and other platforms.
