Andreas Aaser is a London-based Norwegian composer specializing in original, impactful music for Film and TV.
With a deep passion for storytelling through music, Andreas creates scores that are both emotionally compelling and sonically distinctive. His work fuses musicality and sound design -balancing evocative textures with memorable themes to enhance the heart of the narrative and characters.
A graduate of the UK's National Film and Television School, Andreas refined his craft under the mentorship and collaboration with acclaimed composer Natalie Holt, contributing to major productions such as Marvel's Loki and Star Wars TV show Obi-Wan Kenobi. His ability to craft striking, unconventional soundscapes-often incorporating organic and unexpected sounds-sets him apart in an industry that craves originality and cinematic storytelling.
Rooted in both classical and experimental traditions, Andreas' journey began playing in rock bands before transitioning into orchestral composition, earning his first major performance with the Oslo Philharmonic while still in high school. He later deepened his expertise in Music Technology at NTNU in Trondheim, gaining a strong foundation in experimental sound and composition tools.
Andreas collaborates with visionary filmmakers who seek bold, unique and melodic scores that elevate their projects. He is committed to pushing sonic boundaries while maintaining a highly collaborative approach. Whether scoring a feature film or releasing his own music-such as his recent EP Songs of Tomorrow-his mission remains clear: to craft music that resonates, innovates, and leaves a lasting impact.
