Tamsin Topolski is an English actress. She was raised in London, England, in a creatively rich family; her father was British rowing coach and author Daniel Topolski, and her mother is English television actress Susan Gilmore. Topolski began acting in childhood and later trained at the Drama Centre London, where she appeared in stage productions such as Twelfth Night, The Seagull, The Lady from the Sea, and Coram Boy. She launched her screen career with a recurring role as Lavinia Putney in Penny Dreadful (2015) and went on to guest-star in series including Silent Witness, Call the Midwife, Into the Badlands, Strike - The Silkworm, and Holby City. In 2019, she portrayed Bronwyn in The Rook, and in 2022, she appeared as Kelly Tropper in Apple TV+'s Slow Horses. In 2023, she appeared in Atlanta, Guilt III, The Diplomat, and the feature film What You Wish For. Topolski achieved her most prominent screen presence in 2024 with a starring role as Lucie Snipes in the Netflix thriller The Madness. Alongside acting, she is a photographer and has expanded into creative projects behind the camera, directing music videos and writing and directing the short film I'm a Good Person (2024). Her work reflects a multidisciplinary artistic trajectory from theatre to screen to direction and visual art.
