6 Underrated Movies of Head of State’ Jack Quaid
Image
Jack Quaid, renowned for his role as Hughie Campbell in The Boys, has built up an impressive filmography that spans action, comedy, horror, and animation, proving his versatility beyond his Hollywood lineage as the son of Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid.

Over his decade-long career, the actor has been a part of several prominent franchises in supporting roles, such as The Hunger Games, Scream, and Sony’s Spider-Verse. Now, he is set to star alongside stalwarts like John Cena and Idris Elba in Heads of State.

Directed by Ilya Naishuller, the film is an action comedy following a tale of two world leaders, who must come together to thwart a global conspiracy and defeat a common enemy. Also starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas in a prominent role, Quaid’s role remains unknown. Releasing on Prime Video across the world on July 2, 2025, it highlights Quaid’s rising star power.

However, beyond this upcoming film,...

Image
"What's your move now, tough guys?" Rlje Films has unveiled the official trailer for an upbeat suburban thriller called Neighborhood Watch, made by filmmaker Duncan Skiles, of the horror thriller film The Clovehitch Killer previously. Originally titled Nowhere Men and also called Urban Asylum, the movie now known as Neighborhood Watch opens in theaters to watch and on VOD starting at the end of April. In just a few weeks! When a mentally ill young man thinks he witnesses an abduction and the police refuse to believe him, he reluctantly turns to his next door neighbor – a bitter, retired security guard named Ed – to help him find the missing woman. They end up getting into all kinds of trouble. Starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jack Quaid, with Malin Akerman, Cecile Cubiló, Harrison Stone, and Jim Klock. I'm quite curious where this is going to go – will they actually end up...

10 Shows To Watch If You Liked HBO's Band Of Brothers
Image
Band of Brothers set the bar for war dramas on TV with its epic scale, intense battle sequences, and moral analysis of wartime experiences. Just like Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers revolutionized the genre, bringing movie-sized production values to the small screen. From The Pacific to Chernobyl, shows like Band of Brothers continue to explore the impact of war on soldiers and civilians with gripping storytelling.

Despite the epic scale and storytelling, there are shows like Band of Brothers that manage to touch on the qualities that made it so great. HBO's Emmy-winning miniseries Band of Brothers is an expansive and enthralling World War II drama that documents the efforts of an American regiment (nicknamed 'Easy Company') and their experiences at war. Just like how the show's producers Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks' cinematic collaboration, Saving Private Ryan, revolutionized the genre of war drama, Band of Brothers...

‘Mk Ultra’ VOD Review
Image
Stars: Anson Mount, Jason Patric, Jaime Ray Newman, Jen Richards, Alon Aboutboul, Jared Bankens, David Jensen, Matt Nolan, Harrison Stone | Written and Directed by Joseph Sorrentino

I’ve always been interested and super curious about the whole Mk Ultra CIA Human Experiment story and have often found myself reading articles, listening to podcasts or watching the odd rare documentary diving into what is and is not known about the highly illegal but absolutely fascinating events. So a dramatisation of one man’s involvement was sure to get my juices flowing.

There was also an added interesting factor to Mk Ultra with the director being from an intelligence background. This may not make much difference in terms of a factual nature (although it couldn’t hurt) but you have to imagine it would make a difference in terms of aesthetic and the procedural nature of the story as we take an all too real,...
