Billy Di Lieto also known by his musical artist name Suave Flava is an actor singer musician and writer from Leicester. Who comes from a musical family. Billy started acting in theatre at the tender age of ten and stayed in theatre till he was in his early twenties mainly performing in musicals and Shakespeare plays. He later left theatre to study music in Liverpool gaining a music diploma and started writing and performing in various bands and also performing as a solo artist and writing jingles for local radio stations. Purely by accident through a reggae ska band he was in called The Mixtones the band was approached by Cass Pennant who previously was one of West Hams top boys turned writer if they would like to write a song with his band for a film he was producing called Beverly written by Alexander Thomas about a mixed race girl growing up in the 1980s in Britain. After having a small part in the film Beverly playing a band member and performing an original song he wrote with fellow band member Peter Hinds and The Mixtones he was approached by other film makers and directors and the roles started coming in. Billy then got the bug for film acting and pursued a Career in acting.Billy has the ability to slip into various characters quite naturally and has great screen presence he has also been credited as a writer and musical director for various films and screen plays including plays for theatre. And will continue to progress as a multi-talented entertainer in the film industry
