Patricia Barbosa (Patricia Montero Barbosa) is a Spanish actress based in México. She is known for her work TV, short films and commercials, as well as a long list of theatre plays.
She has just finished the shooting of the Mexican bilingual (SPA-ENG) feature film "No Translation Required", which will be released in 2021. Patricia was awarded as the Best Leading Actress in the Festival CortiCinema U30 2020 de Cittá di Chivasso (Italy) for her work in the short film "Report It". She was also the writer and producer of this short film, which won the Best Drama Short Award in the NYC Short Film Festival 2020. She has also written and produced other short films and theatre plays, such as "First Date" or "Las Normas de la Casa del Verdejo".
After graduating from Journalism Studies (URJC Madrid) and working as a presenter (RNE), she studied in Estudio Corazza para el Actor, Central de Cine (Acting for Cameras Degree) and Centro del Actor. She speaks Spanish and English.
