Tani Hala is an actor of Tongan descent from Inglewood, CA. He won the 2024 Sparkfest National Acting Competition, receiving $5,000 and generous recognition from industry professionals like Spencer Gualdoni (Tara Rubin Casting), Lily Tung Crystal (East West Players), and Ralph B. Peña (Ma-Yi Theatre), who praised his depth, range, and presence.
Tani has appeared in Netflix's Me Time opposite Kevin Hart, and in NBC Peacock's Bel-Air, performing alongside Jabari Banks and Olly Sholotan in an episode directed by Matthew Cherry. He also appeared in The Donor Party, released by Vertical Entertainment and streaming on Hulu, alongside Malin Akerman, Erinn Hayes, and Bria Henderson. Most recently, he was featured in NBC Peacock's Based on a True Story, working with Kaley Cuoco and Chris Messina.
