According to the press release, Ashley Williams has written poignant and personal essays for People and Medium about her mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s and serves as executive producer with her husband, Neal Dodson. She and her family have had a long relationship with the Alzheimer’s Association from when they were navigating her mother’s illness.

Falling Together is set to premiere on Hallmark Channel and relates to the battle with Alzheimer’s. Ashley Williams has written personal essays for People and Medium on her own mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s and serves as executive producer with her husband, Neal Dodson. According to a press release from Futon Critic, moving to a new city leads a woman to find fellowship and community through the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

Natalie Calder (Williams) relocated to Pittsburgh for work and is eager to become part of her new town. While exploring her surroundings, she finds the perfect opportunity for involvement as she joins the Walk to End Alzheimer’s as a volunteer.

I have always said that it is very difficult to review short films, because you can hardly say anything about them without giving everything away. But, there are some shorts that are so good, and some short film directors who are so talented, that every once in a while I break my moratorium on writing about shorts and cover them.

Gigi Saul Guerrero is such a director, and El Gigante and Madre De Dios are two such films.

Giving UK horror fans yet another reason to attend their scare-packed festival, the fine folks at Film4 FrightFest have announced their short film lineup that features over thirty shorts, including the cannibalistic wrestling tale, El Gigante:
