Biography

Jedediah Jenk is an American-born, classically trained and award-winning multi-hyphenate Actor, Music Composer, Filmmaker, Voice Actor, Singer, Cinematographer and Director. Jedediah's recent projects include composing the music for Pokemon Starter Squad, a massively successful YouTube parody fan series and a short physiological thriller film Maria Latnem. Jedediah started composing music for live orchestra and screenwriting for feature films at an early age of only 9 years old! Jedediah went on to win the forum festival music award for his original creative works and continued to study the arts in American schools. Jedediah tried out for and made the Prestigious California Tournament of Roses Honor Band and District Honor Bands where he played Trombone and Euphonium professionally. Afterwards Jedediah joined the Santa Clarita Theater Guild troop for a live production of Annie, The Music Man and Les Misérables. Jedediah studied Sound Design and Audio Production at Skywalker Sound under the mentorship of Randy Thom (How To Train Your Dragon II) and Leff Lefferts, after which and also had an internship and training with famed music Composers Shawn Clement (Buffy The Vampire Slayer), Mark Griskey (Star Wars The Old Republic), Ryan Shore (Monsterville), and Shigeru Umebayashi (House of Flying Daggers). Jedediah decided to get into film serious film acting to become a better filmmaker and soon completely fell in the love with the acting craft while studying with casting director John Pallotta at the New York Acting Academy. Jedediah acted in some minor roles with major powerhouse directors Clint Eastwood (Sully) and Christopher Nolan (Dunkirk, Tenent). Jedediah also got a regular recurring non-speaking role in Grey's Anatomy as a Hospital Staff Intern. Afterward Jedediah wanted to master acting and trained with the acting heavyweights Natalie Portman, Samuel Jackson, Reynaldo Pacheco and Jon Sperry for voice coaching and accent training. Since then, Jedediah has also been a prolific screenwriter for multiple fantasy and sci-fi series in production and trained in the art of filmmaking and showrunning with some of the greatest masters: Martin Scorsese, Shonda Rhimes, David Lynch, and Dallas Jenkins.
