Juho "J" Oikarinen (born June 8, 1989) is a Finnish film director
currently living in London. In the mid nineties, his friend introduced
him to an 8mm Camera and from then on he started to make short 8mm
films. Later in life, this hobby became very important to him and he
started making films weekly and viewing them to his school friends.
After when he finished High School, while others were deciding what to do with their lives like Law School or Business, he decided that he wanted to go into the film industry. His parents supported him in this decision, especially his dad who works in advertisement. He got into Met Film School at Ealing Studios to BA Practical Filmmaking. Even though he has not finished his studies, he has still worked on several film projects like short films and documentaries. One of which was about Porsche 911, that Porsche later wanted to publish on one of their sites.
What J Oikarinen wants to become is a Filmmaker and hopes one day that his films get seen by a wider audience. His role models include Steven Spielberg and of course the only Finnish Filmmaker in Hollywood at the moment, Renny Harlin
