Exclusive: Kids television is starting to get hit by the writers strike as well.

Deadline understands that Nickelodeon’s The Really Loud House was forced to shut down production as a result of picketing.

The series is the second project in New Mexico to shut down this week as a result of the writers strike; Max’s Duster was shut down Tuesday. The Really Loud House films in Albuquerque.

It was in production for its second season. It’s not clear when production will resume.

Based on the Emmy-winning animated series, the series ranked as the top live-action show on cable among kids 6-11 during its first season, which debuted in November.

The Single Parents sitcom centers on Will Cooper (Taran Killam), a single father in his 30s, who is sorely in need of a life apart from raising his daughter, Sophie (Marlow Barkley). When the other parents around him realize how far out of touch he is with his own identity, they team up to help him come into his own. ‘Single Parents’ Renewed By ABC For Second Season
ABC has renewed its freshman comedy Single Parents for a second season

The September 26, 2018 debuting single-camera show follows a group of very different, you guessed it, single parents as they lean on one another to help raise their 7-year-old kids and maintain some kind of personal lives outside of parenthood, sort of.

It kicked off with the group meeting Will (Taran Killam), a thirtysomething guy who’s been so focused on raising his daughter that he’s lost sight of who he is as a man. When the other single parents see just how far down the rabbit hole of PTA, parenting and princesses Will has gone, they band together to get him out in the dating world and make him realize that being a great parent doesn’t mean sacrificing everything about your own identity.
