On Tuesday the streamer released a teaser of the film in which voiceovers of stars Emily Bader and Tom Blyth are overheard with a beach backdrop.

NBC isn't ready to close the door on Suits LA just yet. A second season of the Suits spinoff is reportedly still on the table despite the show's lower-than-expected ratings.

Deadline recently reported on the renewal status of NBC's current scripted lineup, which boasts 15 series, two of which (St. Denis Medical and Happy's Place) have only been renewed for next season. While Suits LA has been neither a hit with critics nor in the ratings, Deadline has heard that the network is still considering a second season of the spinoff, likely due to the Suits franchise being a high-profile IP for NBCUniversal.

While it had a devoted fanbase during its nine-season run on the USA Network in the 2010s, Suits became massively popular when it was added to Netflix in 2023, becoming the platform's most-streamed show of the year. This renewed interest in the IP led to NBC ordering the Los Angeles-set spinoff.

While Gabriel Macht's Harvey Specter was a star attraction in the 2011 legal dramedy, Suits. There existed another character which helped smoothen and enhance the work done by New York's finest lawyer. Her name is Donna Paulsen. While Harvey brought the sparkle in public, Donna helped grease the wheels behind-the-scenes to keep the machine functioning at optimum levels. Much like what Azita Ghanizada, who plays Roslyn in Suits LA, does for Ted Black (Stephen Amell). Donna was played by Sarah Rafferty, and Ghanizada has discussed how Roslyn's personality differentiates her from the original character.

"When the original show started, they were much younger than where Ted and I are in our iteration of this time in our lives," Ghanizada says to Screen Rant in an interview. "We're in a different place. He's still fighting for name partner. Ted is name partner. I've been with him through getting to name partner.

After securing a narrow victory in Lester's (Kevin Weisman) case in Suits LA Season 1, Episode 6, "Dester," it was sad to see Ted's (Stephen Amell) victory lap cut short by news of his client, John Amos's death.
