Known for his poignant themes and sharp dialogue, Miguel is one of the hardest working
screenwriters in DR's emerging film industry. His filmography extends to more than two
dozen features and documentaries, being awarded on two occasions the Dominican
National Film Award for screenplay, for his work in "La Gunguna" and "Veneno: el
relámpago de Jack".
