Olivia Rodrigo and Jake Paul rose to fame through the Disney show Bizaardvark. The series focused on young content creators but struggled to resonate with viewers. Despite launching two megastars, Bizaardvark remains relatively obscure in pop culture.
Olivia Rodrigo and Jake Paul are two of the biggest names in media today, though they couldn't be more different. One is an actress and music superstar, while the other is an ever-controversial YouTuber turned pro boxer. We'll let you guess which is which. While they're polar opposites today, both Rodrigo and Paul initially rose to mainstream fame as part of Disney Channel's sitcom Bizaardvark in the mid-2010s.
Rodrigo and Paul played "Vuugle" stars, a parody of Google and YouTube, and hung out in the Vuugle Studios with other online stars. The show was your fairly by-the-numbers Disney kidcom, and it doesn't seem to particularly stand out in viewers' minds today.

John Oliver opened his seventh season of HBO’s Last Week Tonight by taking aim at the media hyping a potential rift between William Barr and Donald Trump, after the attorney general complained last week about the president’s tweeting about Justice Department matters. Oliver even gave credit to Fox News host Laura Ingraham for telling her viewers that the media saw a Barr-Trump rift as a “sexy” story but “missed the fact that Barr was basically telling Trump, ‘Don’t worry, I got this.'” “To borrow a phrase used almost exclusively by white supremacists, Laura Ingraham was right,” Oliver said. The opening segment of Oliver’s show was on the aftermath of Trump’s impeachment acquittal, as he singled out Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) for saying that the president had “learned from this case.” “Of course he hasn’t learned his lesson. Trump never learns his lesson. This...
