- Julia Akkermans (1991) graduated from the Toneelacademie Maastricht in 2014. In theater, she was seen in the acclaimed plays Life is a Dream (2017), a production of the Toneelschuur Productions, and in Borgen (2016), Dorian (2018) and Brave New World 2.0 (2019) by the Noord Nederlands Toneel.
On TV, Julia played guest roles in several Dutch tv-series, such as Keizersvrouwen (2019) and Papadag I & II (2017-2020). On the big screen she starred in the internationally acclaimed film Boys (2013) and in 2018 she played a supporting role in the feature film Niemand in de Stad by Michiel van Erp, for which she won a Gouden Kalf for Best Supporting Actress.
