Jason Her

Jason Her was born in South Korea and attended Fairview International School in Kuala Lumpur before moving to California for his high school years. He went on to earn his BFA with a focus on media and film from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Jason directed a documentary for the award winning production company, Vienna Productions, and worked as a producer for 20C Fox Mobile before turning his focus to acting. Jason received recognition for his acting in the film, I Am Vengeance (2012) at the Monaco Charity International Film Festival, receiving the Special Jury Prize and also an honorable mention at Asians on Film Festival, Los Angeles.

Jason can be seen in Netflix's Emmy-studded BEEF in their upcoming season 2 as a recurring guest star. Jason previously appeared in Magnum PI (CBS) and other shows such as For All Mankind(Apple+), Criminal Minds(CBS), and This is Us(ABC). Jason is also a voice actor, and his credits include Her Blue Sky(Netflix), Kingdom (Netflix) and mostly recently, KPOP: Demon Hunters(Netflix, 2025).

Jason speaks native-level Korean and also works as a Korean dialect coach/cultural consultant and has had the pleasure of coaching actors on "For All Mankind(Apple+)," The Consultant(Amazon), Sugar(Apple+), Umma(Sony), Vacation Friends2(Amazon).
