Arran ANYRIN Bowyn has always been a full blown human condition film-maker and is no gently contemplative chamber-drama auteur. He is a fine art graduate from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London (UK). Noted for his films' ambition and ferocious energy, he has a reputation as a no-holds-barred guerrilla filmmaker, comfortable with exploring desperate circumstances. Anyrin can demonstrate convincingly that each film represents a unique approach to storytelling and a distinct treatment of cinematic time. His films are emotionally involving, often spectacular and formally audacious with unabashedly forthright commentaries on the state of different cultures - "for me, its about pushing the viewer towards a universal & ethical affirmation of humanism".
