Elias Voit might be a transformed man (we hope this is the case for real), but his minions are still running rogue in Criminal Minds: Evolution. Zach Gilford, the actor who has so compellingly brought the deranged character to life since the reboot's inception, has revealed he will help steer Voit's arc this season, behind the scenes. Gilford is set to direct an upcoming episode of the crime procedural, but this won't be his first time performing off-screen duties on the series. Gilford first directed Season 2, Episode 8, "North Star," parts of which centered around the Bau unraveling further details about Voit's sinister Sicarius network.
Several episodes later, the activities of the deadly network continue to keep the Bau busy, even though their leader has now seemingly turned a new leaf. The previous episode, "The Brutal Man," sees Gilford agreeing to work with the Bau to crack down on every last member of the network.

This article contains spoilers for Criminal Minds: Evolution season 2 episode 10.
Criminal Minds: Evolution season 2 (also known as Criminal Minds season 17) has taken fans on a wild journey as TV’s favorite profilers try to figure out and eradicate the threat of “Gold Star.”
Throughout most of season two, the storyline focused on the characters Jade (Liana Liberato) and Damien (David Garelik) as they attempted to seek revenge on those who had abused them and were connected to Stuart House. This group included Jill Gideon (Felicity Huffman), the wife of Jason Gideon (Mandy Patinkin), who Damien abducted in episode eight before he surrendered and signaled for Jade to kill him so he wouldn’t be locked up again.
The penultimate episode of Criminal Minds: Evolution season 2 was even more of a rollercoaster of unexpected plot twists. We discovered that neither Jade nor Damien were the actual threats. They were just members...

David Garelik was in Trey Edward Shults’ Waves, Peter Berg’s Mile 22, and recently finished a run of an Off-Broadway 2-hander at the Wp Theater, co-produced with Colt Coeur. Now you can see him as the bad guy/enucleator, opposite Liana Liberato, on this season of Criminal Minds: Evolution on Paramount+. On this epic episode, he recounts his journey from moving to New York with zero acting experience and “being a bad auditioner,” to making naivety work for him and “changing the game” by refusing to play it. It’s a story of perseverance, endurance, and growth, fueled by focus on the […]

The following includes discussions of assault against minors and spoilers for Criminal Minds: Evolution Season 2, Episode 9, "Stars & Stripes."
Over the course of nine episodes, Criminal Minds: Evolution Season 2 delved deep into its central conspiracy that sought to turn a group of troubled teenagers into ruthless killers. However, the mastermind behind the Gold Star killers' upbringing created an entirely different kind of conspiracy theory to drive them. Jade Waters (Liana Liberato) and Damien Booth (David Garelik) are merciless serial murderers, but they were also the heroes in the story they told themselves.
Despite spending almost all of Season 2 in a cell, Elias Voit (Zach Gilford) is still a big presence in the Criminal Minds revival. He was the "big bad" of Season 1, and his knowledge of the Gold Star program helped him secure a sweetheart deal with the authorities despite killing Deputy FBI Director Doug Bailey (Nicholas D'Agosto). While this storyline...

The following contains spoilers for Criminal Minds: Evolution, Season 2, Episode 8, "North Star."
Criminal Minds: Evolution Season 2 has been a harrowing ride for the members of the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit (Bau), and the season's eighth episode, "North Star," is no different. Even though they capture one of the Gold Star killers, the Bau still ends up losing. With a strict focus on the overall Season 2 story, Criminal Minds' ongoing revival is running headlong into its endgame, even as the true villains have yet to reveal themselves.
The previous episode centered on a Criminal Minds stand-alone case that was deeply disturbing but disconnected from the Gold Star killers and the suspected "Sicarius" killer. Eilas Voit may prove to be the true villain of this season, despite being incarcerated since the premiere. Newcomer Doctor Jill Gideon (Felicity Huffman) is more than just the ex-wife of Criminal Minds character Jason Gideon...

The following contains spoilers from Criminal Minds: Evolution Season 2, Episode 5, "Conspiracy vs. Theory."
It's the midway point for Season 2 of Criminal Minds: Evolution, and Gold Star, Elias Voit (Zack Gilford) and Emily Prentiss's (Paget Brewster) deeply disturbed neighbor are bringing the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit (Bau) to their breaking point. After mostly leading on the members of the Bau and mocking them for it, Voit finally starts helping with the investigation into Gold Star. However, Voit plays both sides expertly, narrowly avoiding death.
"Conspiracy vs. Theory" is an episode that shows just how much Criminal Minds changed in its reboot in, Evolution. Unlike the past few episodes or any of the show's classic seasons, there was no case-of-the-week here. Instead, the whole narrative focused squarely on the Gold Star investigation. Criminal Minds' transformation from episodic cases to a serialized investigation has never been more apparent than in this episode. The Bau recently discovered that,...

From the very first frame of Waves we are placed in the centre of this family drama, as the camera spins and turns we soon find our self caught by the movie’s power. Before we know it, the waves have crashed over us and we have been submerged into this world.
Tyler (Kelvin Harrison Jr) has everything going for him, the star of the school wrestling team, a beautiful girlfriend and a life of endless parties. As the film progresses and we follow his story of dealing with an injury that could ruin his chances of being a future athlete, we see his father (Sterling K Brown) baring down and adding even more weight...
