Kim Caicedo is a Colombian-American director with a background in New York advertising and a directing MFA from the American Film Institute. Her thesis film won the DGA Student Jury Prize in the Latino category.
Kim's work has been recognized by the ARC Awards, Creativity International, The Webby Awards, and Fast Company's Innovation By Design Awards.
Her debut feature, "The Pines," won Best Florida Feature at the Freakshow Horror Film Festival and was nominated for Best Feature by New Filmmakers LA. Her films have been showcased at 30 festivals worldwide, including the New York Latino Film Festival, LA Shorts International Film Festival and the Bogotá International Film Festival.
