- Alaine Huntington has worked across both independent and larger-budget films, notably contributing to the animal rights documentary Dominion and Kickboxer: Vengeance, starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. Born in North Miami Beach, Florida, she earned a degree in multimedia, religious studies, and environmental science from the University of Alabama. Though she had no formal theater training initially, she later studied under Harvard instructors from the Moscow Art Theatre School (MxAT) during an intensive program. This experience led her to work behind the scenes in multiple film departments, refining her skills in film and event production, as well as acting.
Alaine started her journey in media, with technical operations for DragonCon, followed by work in radio broadcasting and music production. She recorded independent news, musicians and storytellers as well as collaborated with HBCU Stillman College to document historical interviews, all while volunteering as a disc jockey and radio news anchor. Her early film projects focused on differently-abled and unhoused military veterans, as well as highlighting the ecological consequences of the BP oil disaster on coastal Louisiana-using storytelling to shed light on pressing social and environmental issues. As an event producer, Alaine has organized sponsorships, teach-ins, and festivals which offer resources to those facing adversity.- IMDb mini biography by: UTM Productions
