- Trish Rainone is a Canadian actress, writer, and producer with a love of comedy, weird characters and awkward moments. She co-created and starred in the award-winning digital series My Roommate's an Escort, which earned her a Best Actress nomination at TO Web Fest and screened at festivals across North America. In 2025, she starred as Top Dog in Pink Is In: The Movie, which took home Best Feature Film and Best Comedy. Additionally, she starred in all episodes of the series on Tubi (USA, Mexico, Australia) and on Bell Fibe TV (Canada.)
Some film credits include The Void, Magnetosphere, A Christmas Letter, and the upcoming horror feature Broken Bones, based on her original script, Bone Cutator. On stage, she's played Shelby in Steel Magnolias and chaotic Tina in Tony n' Tina's Wedding.
Trish has trained at The Groundlings, The Sketch School, and Improv Your Acting, and posts weekly comedy sketches and mom commentary to Instagram (@trish.rainone). She's the co-founder of the Sault Film Festival and holds a degree in Psychology and a diploma in Autism and Behavioural Sciences.
In 2025, she took on her most demanding (and hilarious) role yet: first-time mom. She's currently developing a comedy series about plunging into motherhood at 40, written between naps, spit-ups, and very strong but cold coffee.- IMDb mini biography by: Terri Winter

- John Doyle wrote in The Globe and Mail: "The role goes to the prisoner known as Top Dog (Tricia Rainone), who runs the place with a good understanding of what incarcerated women prisoners actually want. The episodes are short, the feel is trippy and this is one of those gutsy Canadian comedies that deserves a much bigger audience." (John Doyle, The Globe and Mail, 'Pink Is In' Review, Jan. 26, 2021.).
- Wrote a coming-of-age script called Not All Who Wander are Lost with actor Daley (Tyler) Blake Smith before his tragic passing. Daley can be seen in Murdoch Mysteries, The Expanse and as the lead in the Canadian Screen Award-nominated, The Runner, digital series.
- John Doyle wrote in The Globe and Mail: "The show is highly polished for a low-budget production, and it gives both Uhlmann and Rainone solid work. Both are young actor/writers who have mainly appeared in low-budget horror movies in which their talents are wasted." (John Doyle, Globe and Mail 'My Roommate's an Escort' Review, April 3. 2017.).
- Anthony LeClair wrote: "Rainone has a grand physicality that she hardly needs thanks to the truth telling in her piercing eyes." (Anthony LeClair, LeClair Studios Review of 'Sanctuary', 2016.).
