Wasim Khan was born on 7th November 1977 in Kashmir, India where received his early education at a Christian Missionary School. He moved to Mumbai in 2005 where he assisted and trained with director Dibakar Banerjee until 2012. He partnered up with fellow producer Priya Sreedharan in 2015 to start their own company Open Air Films and has been producing commercials, feature films, fiction, and non-fiction series for OTT platforms like Netflix.
