Kevin Spacey stars in the new trailer for 1780, a historical thriller set during the Revolutionary War in the vast forests of Pennsylvania. The film follows a wounded soldier who finds refuge with a trapper and his young son, but as British forces close in, they must navigate loyalty, survival, and the harsh realities of a world at war.

Directed by Dustin Fairbanks (Warning Shot), the film also stars DJ Qualls (Supernatural), R. Keith Harris (The Walking Dead), Pj Marshall (Mindhunter) and Vince Eisenson (Billions). There’s no official release date yet, but it’s expected to be released later this year.

Exclusive: Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey (American Beauty) and DJ Qualls (The New Guy) are set to topline 1780, a new historical thriller directed by Dustin Fairbanks (Warning Shot).

The film is set during the Revolutionary War, in the vast forests of Pennsylvania, where a wounded soldier finds refuge with a trapper and his young son. As British forces close in, they must navigate loyalty, survival, and the harsh realities of a world at war. Watch a first teaser at the link above.

The film is produced by Sds Pictures and Future Proof Films. Producers included DJ Dodd, Spero Stamboulis, and Spencer Folmar of American Talent Management, with Kimberly Olsen exec producing. Also starring R. Keith Harris (The Walking Dead), Pj Marshall (Mindhunter), and Vince Eisenson (Billions), the film is expected to be released later this year.

North Fork TV Festival Sets Richard Schiff as Ambassador for the Arts Honoree

The North Fork TV Festival has unveiled that it is honoring “The West Wing” actor Richard Schiff as the Ambassador for the Arts. The organization has also revealed the full list of winners of the Independent Pilot competition, including Sue Zarco Kramer’s comedy “Swipe NYC,” which Schiff co-stars in. The festival will take place in Greenport, NY on Aug. 27 and Aug. 28.

Al Julian and Vince Eisenson’s drama “The Sessions,” Juliana Piscina’s comedy “The Ladies” and Scott Kruse, Josh Long and Kurt Quinn’s sketch pilot “Typical Dan Peterson Stuff” all have been chosen as winners for the competition.

North Fork TV Festival 2024 Unveils Star-Studded Lineup with Kelsey Grammer, Marcia Gay Harden, John Turturro, and More

The annual North Fork TV Festival has announced its 2024 lineup, full of beloved TV stars and recent Emmy nominees.

The ninth annual event will take place Tuesday, August 27th and Wednesday August 28th in Greenport, NY. This year, Emmy-nominated stars John Turturro (“Severance”) and Marcia Gay Harden (“The Morning Show”) will be among the honorees, as well as “Frasier” Emmy winner Kelsey Grammer and “The West Wing” Emmy-winning alum Richard Schiff.

Harden will be celebrated with the Canopy Award, while Schiff will be feted with the title of 2024 Ambassador for the Arts. Schiff also co-stars in the North Fork TV Festival comedy pilot winner “Swipe NYC,” which will screen.

“We are honored to present Richard Schiff with this year’s Ambassador for the Arts Award,” festival founder Noah Doyle said. “His remarkable talent and dedication across TV and film have inspired viewers worldwide. We look forward to celebrating his talent in Greenport.

The teaser for NBC’s New Amsterdam season five episode six shows Floyd is going to try everything possible to protect his dad from himself. Episode six – “Give Me a Sign” – will air on October 25, 2022 at 10pm Et/Pt.

Season five cast members include Ryan Eggold as Dr. Max Goodwin, Janet Montgomery as Dr. Lauren Bloom, Jocko Sims as Dr. Floyd Reynolds, and Tyler Labine as Dr. Iggy Frome.
