Princess Lilian of Sweden has died aged 97. The country's Royal Palace has confirmed the Welsh-born princess - who suffered from Alzheimer's disease and had been in poor health for a number of years - passed away at her home in Stockholm yesterday (10.03.13), and Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt has paid tribute to the monarch. Princess Lilian of Sweden, whose relationship with Prince Bertil was kept secret for more than 30 years because she was a commoner, died at her home in Stockholm Sunday, the Associated Press reports.
