Erkan Meriç was born in Adana, he has completed primary and high school education in Mersin and then graduated from Mersin University Electronics Automation Department in 2008.
He participated in Best Model of Turkey competition in 2008, was chosen as The Best Male Photomodel. In 2009 he also participated in the Best Model of Turkey held in Cyprus and this time he won and became The Best Model Of Turkey. In the Best Model of the World competition held in Bulgaria in 2010, Erkan Meriç represented Turkey and selected as The Best Male Model Of World.
