Victor Albaum is an award-winning actor and producer known for playing charismatically bold performers, lovable misfits, and offbeat scene-stealers. He brings both a comedic flair and grounded heart to every role. As an artist, he gravitates toward stories about underdogs who overcome obstacles and succeed despite the odds, especially roles where the character is striving to be their most authentic self.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Victor is the middle child of seven siblings. Though he spent his early years immersed in athletics including football, swimming, judo, track and field, cross country, and baseball, he found his creative calling in theatre. After moving to the Antelope Valley at age eleven, he began performing in the local community theatre scene. By sixteen, he had earned the Art Bucaro Scholarship from Palmdale Repertory Theatre, and was selected to attend the California State Summer School for the Arts where he was named a California Arts Scholar.
Victor went on to attend Idyllwild Arts Academy for his final two years of high school, and was the first recipient of the Passionate Artist Award. He then moved to Chicago and earned his BFA in Musical Theatre from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. After graduating, he moved to New York City, and performed in touring and regional theatre productions across the country. Stage credits include Twelfth Night, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Pretentious Young Ladies, South Pacific, Peter Pan, and Grease. Over time, he transitioned his focus to film and television, where he continues to build a dynamic body of work. He appears in the upcoming feature film Concessions, his first role in a narrative feature. Some of his television credits include Grown-ish, Gossip Girl, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and The Bay.
Victor is the producer and star of FabUless, a Telly Award-winning comedy web series inspired by his work as a brand ambassador. FabUless earned eight Indie Series Award nominations, won Best Series at the Chain Film Festival and Global Shorts Festival, and was officially selected by over 20+ film and web festivals. His performance in the series earned him Best Actor awards from both the New Jersey Web Fest and the British Web Awards.
He is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors' Equity.
Victor lives in NYC with his husband Chris, an architectural lighting designer. He loves to travel, laugh, have a good time, and get completely hooked on a great series.
