Ahead of Superman, audiences are revisiting, or perhaps watching for the first time, David Corenswet's previous big screen outing, 2024's Twisters. The disaster movie is currently climbing the charts on Prime Video.

Per FlixPatrol, Twisters is currently No. 5 on Prime Video's U.S. Top 10 Movies list, sitting just below The Accountant 2, The Accountant, Oblivion, and The Beekeeper, all of whom are making their debut on the list. Twisters has jumped up three spots from yesterday, where it was at No. 8. Coincidentally, No. 8 is where Twisters is currently sitting on Prime Video's Top 10 Overall list for the day, coming in under the series Clarkson's Farm, Motorheads, and The Better Sister and the aforementioned four movies.

A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, the romantic drama starring Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell, unveiled its first trailer Tuesday. The film, directed by Kogonada and written by Seth Reiss (The Menu), is set to hit theaters September 19 via Sony’s Columbia Pictures.

Robbie and Farrell play Sarah and David, strangers who meet at a mutual friend’s wedding. They soon are brought back together after some mystical Gps matchmaking of sorts and embark on a sweeping adventure through time in which they get to re-live important moments from their respective pasts via a series of doors they discover that act as portals. The journey will become what connects them.

Per Deadline, Chung is set to direct The Traveler for Skydance, an adaptation of Joseph Eckert's novel, Traveler. Michael Angarano, John Early and Brandon Perea are among her character’s love interests, as well as a surprise onscreen face: Finneas O’Connell, the musical superstar and 10-time Grammy winner for his work with sister Billie Eilish.

Twisters is heading to Peacock. The acclaimed legacy sequel to the 1996 disaster movie Twister is set to drop onto the streaming platform next month.

Per Variety, Twisters will begin streaming on Peacock on Nov. 15, 2024. The news comes one day before the legacy sequel which stars Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones, and the Dcu's Superman, David Corenswet arrives on 4K Uhd, Blu-ray and DVD. For fans wanting to learn more about the making of Twisters, physical copies of the movie come with several behind-the-scenes featurettes, such as "Tracking the Fronts: The Path of Twisters," exploring the movie's evolution from its early development until its theatrical debut; and "Into the Eyes of the Storm," examining how the tornado scenes were brought to life using practical effects and elaborate sets.

The film, a follow up to the 1996 storm-chasing classic, released in theaters on July 19 with a strong $80.5 million opening. It went on to make more than $370 million globally. “Twisters” was a particularly big hit in specialty theaters — like 4Dx, where attendees are blasted by wind, rain and rocked back and forth in their seats.

In addition to Powell and Edgar-Jones, the cast includes Anthony Ramos, Brandon Perea, David Corenswet, Maura Tierney, Sasha Lane and more. It was directed by Lee Isaac Chung and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Thomas Hayslip and Ashley Jay Sandberg.
