Joe Redifer was born in Denver, Colorado. The son of an elevator
technician/labor leader and an administrative assistant, with one
sister. He attended many different schools but spent all of his high
school years at Holy Family High School from which he graduated.
Redifer became interested in animation early on in his life when his primary hobby was drawing. After high school he began making many short films with groups of friends and also pursued animation projects on his own time. He has worked in the entertainment industry as a projectionist and movie theater technician and also as a video editor. He has written articles for the national publication Videomaker about techniques used to achieve certain effects in video-making. In 2011 he joined with a friend to create Game Sack, which is seen worldwide.
