Biography

Joyce Rivera is a Canadian-Salvadorean actress. She is known for her work on film and television. Her credits include Netflix's TV series Sex Life (2023), Slip (2023), The Expanse (2021), The Guest of Honour (2019), Remember (2015), Schitt's Creek (2015) and The Art of More (2015) among other productions.

She holds a baccalaureate degree in Social Development Studies and Social Work Studies certificate from the University of Waterloo. Also, a baccalaureate in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Prince Edward Island.

In her free time, Rivera likes to pursue acting training opportunities, attend industry events, supporting local artists' work, travelling, drawing, painting and spending time with her family out in nature. She is very passionate about film-making, women's rights, organ donation awareness and advocating against bullying in the workplace.
