GK Aanantha Varshan (born on 8 June 1973) is an Indian film director, screenwriter & producer. Aananth made his directorial debut with Valmiki (2009) starring Akil, Meera Nandan & Sruthi Nair, produced by Vikatan Talkies & music by maestro Ilaiyaraja. Prior to which he had Assisted Dir.Shankar in films like Mudhalvan (1999), Nayak (2001) & Boys (2003). Later, he Co-Directed Chellame (2004) with Dir.A R Gandhi Krishna.
