Amelia Sargisson is an actor, writer, and director born and raised in Montréal. She has performed in English and French on stages across Canada, from North Van to Halifax, as well as in the States and Japan. She spent three seasons at The Stratford Festival, originating the role of Eve in Erin Shields' "Paradise Lost." She has also performed at Crow's (Dora Mavor Moore Nomination - Outstanding Performance in a Featured Role - "Red Velvet"), Canadian Stage, The Citadel, Centaur (multiple META Nominations), Talk Is Free, Imago (META Nomination - Outstanding Lead Performance - "if we were birds"; Cartes Premières Best Actress Award - "down from heaven"), and Summerworks (Spotlight Award - "The Art of Catching Pigeons by Torchlight"). TV credits include: "The Boys" (Amazon); "See" (Chernin Ent./Apple TV+); and "Murdoch Mysteries" (Shaftesbury/CBC/UKTV). Amelia plays Nora (VO and Mocap) in Don't Nod's first video game in the "Lost Records" universe, "Bloom & Rage." She has narrated and directed multiple titles for Penguin Random House audio-books, and works regularly as a mentoring artist at The National Theatre School. She co-wrote a play with nisha ahuja, "30 People Watching," which appears in "ReView: An Anthology of Plays Committed to Social Justice." Amelia is a co-founder of Ground Floor, an arts service organization supporting healthy communication and conflict transformation in creative workplaces.
