- Shafaq started her career as Assistant Director with Vinta Nanda in television serials like Sansar (Zee TV), Deewane to Deewane Hai (B4U), Papa (Zee TV), and many more. She directed her first feature film in 2012, titled Desi Romeo (Punjabi), starring Babbu Mann and Harjit Harman. In 2016, her short film "Launda Naach" won the best short film award in the coveted OVF Film Festival in LA.
