Game of Thrones Season 3 Casts Mance Rayder, Daario Naharis and Grey Worm
The best and worst part about the wait in between seasons of Game of Thrones is the seemingly endless amount of casting that goes on. From the moment a season ends, a flurry of actors is cast to play brand new characters on the absolutely epic series. It’s great to have the show expand its roster, but it does become a little difficult to distinguish one character from another unless you are familiar with the book series. Recently we had three new roles cast: Mance Rayder, Daario Naharis and Grey Worm. As is usually the case with this type of news, some of these characters will get much more screen time than others, but they all are significant to the story.

Meet The Latest 'Game Of Thrones' Leaders
Make way for Daenerys' new Stormcrow captain!

According to EW, Ed Skrein has been cast as Daario, the handsome and harsh captain of a company of soldiers called The Stormcrows on "Game Of Thrones."

Additionally, Jacob Anderson has been cast as Grey Worm, the leader of the group of slave soldiers Unsullied.

Plucked from across the pond, both British actors are newcomers who will certainly make an impression with their roles on the HBO series.

Patient fans of HBO’s medieval epic Game of Thrones may have to wait until next April for the acclaimed drama to return – but not for some enticing new casting info. HBO has announced English rapper Ed Skrein and UK actor Jacob Anderson have been cast as Daario Naharis and Grey Worm, respectively in the upcoming third season.

The news follows the exciting announcement of Rome star Ciarán Hinds being cast as self-proclaimed “King-Beyond-the-Wall” Mance Rayder.

Following the major Game of Thrones Season 3 casting news from last week - Ciarán Hinds will come on board as Mance Rayder - HBO has confirmed two more upcoming recurring stars:

Ed Skrein, a musician/actor who will be making his U.S. television debut, has been cast as Daario Naharis, the captain of the Stormcrows, who will help Daenerys sail into Westeros. Jacob Anderson will portray Grey Worm, the leader of the Unsullied, a sect of eunuch slave soldiers trained from birth to go into battle.

Game of Thrones returns with new episodes on March 31, 2013.
